Clever idea. Too personal though?

So I went to my first job interview in a very long time and I’m so happy with how it went. I hope that my energy doesn’t come and bite me somehow but I feel energized from the experience and I think that I gave it all I had as I spoke to the hiring committee. More details to come I guess!
<3 yay yay yay
So as I’m skimming through my never ending Dashboard of amazing-ness I’ve realized that I am really drawn to the ‘words of wisdom’ that are posted in elegant and creative ways. For my future classroom I would love to give tribute to a diverse population of inspiring and motivating quotes from successful and passionate members of our past and present society. Including ;or at least linking this with Tribes - I would LOVE to have a community circle each week where we talk about one message or quote that we came across that kept us going for that particular week. We as a class will build upon our “Wall of the Wise” therefore we will literally be surrounded by the words of individuals who inspire us to be better selves. Canadian words of wisdom would be especially enlightening. Just a thought. :)

Thank you so much for sharing! I should post a pick of some of my favs and maybe write a little blurb to share. I still need to read John Green’s book. It’s on my list…

cereal box (modge podge and wrapping paper) Make one for each day of the week!
I really like this! Low budget and super bright paper makes the classroom environment so much more fun! How long would these last I wonder?
I would get my kids to make this their title page for their language arts - writing notebooks or at least post it in my room!

I think this is a very nice idea. Could you put this into a competition or team points kind of exercise to raise the stakes?
